09. Wallets and Balances API

What you hold, and what you can actually spend.
Permission: READ_BALANCE, which every key has.
Your account has three separate wallets, and they do not share money:

ASSETHolding, deposits and withdrawals
FUTUREFutures margin
Spot orders spend only from the spot wallet, and futures orders spend only from the futures wallet. If your money is in the wrong one, move it in the web app. The API cannot transfer between your own wallets, and no permission can authorize it.
Two endpoints show the same money in different shapes. GET /v1/transfers/balances is usually the one you want for a trading client, because it groups by coin.
Remember that available and locked are different. locked is money already committed to open orders, and it is not spendable.
