Get One Spot Order

Read a single order. This is how you find out why an order was refused, and how you poll an order to a final state.
Permission: READ_ORDERS
Returns one order object with the same shape as the list, including rejectReason and venueCode when the status is REJECTED.

Poll this endpoint when#

status is PENDING_SUBMIT or SUBMITTED, until it reaches a final state.
status is UNKNOWN. Your funds are still reserved and a background process is resolving the truth. Never re-place the order.
A cancel attempt failed. Nothing was written by the failed cancel, so this endpoint holds the real state.
Errors: 400 VALIDATION_ERROR for a malformed id, 404 NOT_FOUND with the message "Order not found".
An order belonging to another user returns 404, never 403. The API never confirms that someone else's id exists.
